A paid workspace is a separate workspace. Your personal one is never turned into something your colleagues can see.

Private by design

Switch on end-to-end encryption for a meeting, or start a private conversation: the keys stay on your devices, so SteadyMeet can’t read them. Anyone in a private conversation can still report a message, and a school or company can switch private conversations off.

What is a seat?

A seat is one person who can be a member of your workspace. Guests you invite to a meeting or a conversation don’t use one.

Can I change the number of seats later?

Yes, in your workspace settings, where your payment method supports it. The difference is prorated, and you can’t go below the members you already have.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your workspace becomes read-only: everything stays, everyone can read it, and you can export it. Renew any time and carry on where you left off.

Do I need a card to get started?

No. The personal workspace is free, with no card.

Can I have a personal and a team workspace?

Yes. They’re separate workspaces, and you can have as many as you need.
